Most people know Chef Diane DiMeo from her TV appearances, runner up on ABC’s ‘The Taste’ (on Anthony Bourdain’s team), two-time champion of Food Network’s ‘Chopped’ and TLC/Discovery International program, ‘Mission Menu’. She has also been featured on TV shows such as Good Morning America, Fox News and The Better Show. Chef DiMeo has been featured in several publications including LA Times, TimeOut, 3 featured articles in Travel & Leisure, Esquire Magazine, Details Magazine, and Food & travel. Chef DiMeo has been featured with one of her recipes, in a cookbook, that received ‘Gourmand Cookbook Award’. Currently, she is the producer of The Tulum Food, Wine & Spirits Festival, which has had 3 editions, and the Chief in Editor of Tulum Eats Magazine (now called the DL). Chef DiMeo’s restaurant experience runs from the East Coast to the West Coast, and in Mexico from Punta Mita to Mexico City to Tulum. She has worked as an Executive Chef, Pastry Chef and an Executive Chef Consultant, and her culinary knowledge ranges from Asian cuisine (Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean & Japanese) to Mexican cuisine, to French, Greek, Irish, Italian, and Persian cuisine.
