Jorge GONZÁLEZ
Jorge González as Executive Chef of The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort. With a strong background in the culinary industry, Chef Jorge has an in-depth knowledge of Punta Mita, where he previously served as chef of one of the region’s most renowned restaurants until 2012. He later continued his professional growth in Mexico City as Executive Sous Chef, where he played a key role in the opening of the concept restaurant Zanaya.
Passionate about his culinary heritage, Jorge has refined his craft over the years, leading him to share his talent around the world as a guest chef, both independently and in collaboration with other teams. His international experience includes destinations such as Indonesia, Egypt, Spain, Nevis, Hong Kong, Russia, Costa Rica, and the United States.
Always seeking new challenges, in 2016 he was part of the opening of Rosewood Puebla as Executive Chef, leading its culinary vision from the outset and leaving a significant mark on the local dining scene. Although originally from Guadalajara, Jorge considers Punta Mita his true home.
