Project Description

Vanessa Blouet

Vanessa Blouet discovered cooking as a natural language from a very young age. The daughter of renowned chef Thierry Blouet and Rosa Martha, originally from Zacatecas, she grew up surrounded by aromas, flavors, and techniques that awakened in her a deep passion for gastronomy. From childhood, her father encouraged her to explore ingredients, understand their origins, and see in each combination a story connected to nature and to the essence of every dish.

Far from being just an extension of her family name, Vanessa has forged her own professional path. Her culinary style elegantly blends French technique—her foundational training—with the character and richness of local Mexican products. A strong advocate for using ingredients from Vallarta and regions across Mexico, she supports the local economy and honors the country’s culinary traditions. In her own words: “My cuisine has a very French base, but with a Mexican soul.”

Today, Vanessa Blouet stands out for an authentic and sensitive approach to cooking, deeply tied to her roots. Each dish she creates reflects the story and identity she has built throughout her life.
